Harvik was incorporated in 1972 as a joint venture between Malaysia and Norway specialized in high quality hand-made rubber safety boots. The fire fighting boots produced by Harvik conformed to EN345 and NFPA standards. Factory has installed capacity exceeding one million pairs a year with a workforce of 700 people. Factory obtained ISO9002 certification in 1992.
