Tyco Gas & Flame Detection to exhibit this year at ONS

Tyco Gas & Flame Detection one of the largest global manufacturers of gas and flame detection products will be showcasing the very latest innovations at the ONS exhibition, 29 August to 1 September, in Norway.
On stand 72, Hall 8, outdoor booth, the company will demonstrate how it uses its global footprint and extensive expertise to provide end-to-end gas and flame detection solutions for a wide range of applications worldwide.
One of the products on display will be the GD10P IR point gas detector, which includes advanced design functions that provide superior response to the detection of gas hazards. The infrared gas detector differs from all other models in that it utilises silicon based solid-state infrared sources, ensuring its complete opto-mechanical design and construction delivers ultra-fast speed of response, while providing unparalleled service life and stability. The detector is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial environments, and has set the benchmark for combustible gas detection on offshore installations.
The GD1 toxic laser LOS gas detector is another market-leading product from Tyco Gas & Flame. The GD1 utilises a tuneable laser diode design which provides the fastest and most reliable detection of hydrogen sulphide (H2) and eliminates environmental effects from the sun, rain and fog, and delivers enhanced coverage and reliable detection. The GD1’s laser scans single absorption lines where there is no interference from other gases. Unlike traditional detection methods, the detector does not require recalibration and covers the same risk as multiple standard detectors.
Designed specifically for mobile use in heavy industrial environments, the reliable CXT SmartWireless® gas detection sensors are easily and economically deployable in both permanent and temporary installations. These low power sensors detect combustible hydrocarbons through infrared technology and also offer the widest suite of toxic gas detection capabilities through electrochemical technology. The offering features built-in wireless transceivers and display for gas sensor or field device HMI. The series incorporates a universally-accepted 2.4 GHz non-licensed frequency and is compatible with disposable or rechargeable battery packs.
The OLCT 700 industrial gas detection sensor has been specifically developed for heavy duty, harsh industrial environments and has been positioned as the next generation of intelligent detection. Durable design features such as an electro-polished 316 stainless steel housing, multi-layered transient spike protection circuitry, and fully encapsulated electronics give the SIL2 Certified OLCT 700 its superior positioning in the market – providing an unmatched level of pre-emptive fault diagnostics.
Also on display will be the BM25 Wireless Transportable Multi-Gas Area Monitor, which combines the benefits of a fixed system area monitor with a robust, easy-to-use portable device.
